Rights Group Demands Answers on the Use of Controversial Circumcision Tool

The KZN health department will have to explain why it’s still using the controversial male circumcision device Tara Klamp despite questions around its safety. This follows a complaint lodged recently with the public protector by the Treatment Action Campaign to investigate the procurement and continued use of the Tara Klamp to perform medical circumcisions in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa.
