Key Congressional Committee Appointments to Affect FDA

Reps. Robert Aderholt (R-Ala.) and Jack Kingston (R-Ga.) will chair the House Appropriations subcommittees that govern the FDA and HHS, respectively, in the 113th Congress that began Jan. 3. Aderholt will preside over the Subcommittee on Agriculture and Rural Development, the FDA and Related Agencies. Kingston will head the Subcommittee on Labor, HHS, Education and Related Agencies.
