FDA Approves Magnetic Helmet for Treating Depression

The FDA approved a device that treats depression using magnets. About 14.8 million American adults, or 6.7 percent of the U.S. adult population, are diagnosed with major depression in a given year, and antidepressant medications often don’t help.
