Europe Moves to Suspend Merck Cholesterol Drug

The European Medicines Agency announced Friday that it had confirmed a recommendation to suspend a cholesterol drug treatment by Merck Sharp & Dohme Ltd. after concluding that the drug's benefits don't outweigh the risks.
