Myriad to SCOTUS: Isolated DNA Should Remain Patentable

Myriad Genetics has asked the Supreme Court to dismiss the Association for Molecular Pathology’s case against the company, arguing a lack of jurisdiction. If it does not throw out the case, the high court should uphold the Federal Circuit’s ruling that isolated DNA can be patented, Myriad says.
