Japan Strengthens Pharma Affairs Law

Japan’s Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare (MHLW) is amending its Pharmaceuticals Affairs Law to ensure faster and safer access to devices and drugs. Proposed reforms include expanding the third-party accreditation system to specially controlled devices and changing the current licensing system to a registration system.
