NJ Compounding Pharmacy Enters Into Consent Decree to Fix Quality Issues

New Jersey-based compounder Med Prep Consulting entered into a consent decree with the FDA Thursday to fix persistent quality problems, the latest agency tactic aimed at reining in compounding pharmacies. The agreement, approved in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, directs Med Prep to hire a third-party expert to review and overhaul quality procedures at its Tinton Falls facility.
