Drugmaker Ends Sales to U.S. Prisons

UK-based Hikma Pharmaceuticals has ceased direct sales of injectable phenobarbital to U.S. correctional facilities and will work directly with its distributors to prevent the drug’s being diverted for unintended uses, the company said.
