Senate Appropriations Panel Approves Bill to Reverse Sequestration at NIH

The Senate Appropriations Committee Thursday approved a bill that would return NIH funding for fiscal 2014 to presequester levels and add a $307 million dollar cherry on top. By a 16-14 vote, the committee approved the bill down partisan lines and raised NIH funding for 2014 to almost $31 billion.
