Malaysia Launches eApplication System

Devicemakers, authorized representatives, importers, distributors and conformity assessment bodies can now electronically file applications for product registrations and establishment licenses in Malaysia. The Medical Device Centralised Application System, or MeDC@St, was launched July 1 to facilitate compliance with requirements of the 2012 medical device law and is in line with the government’s paperless initiative, the Medical Device Authority says.
