Colombia Issues Guidelines for Importers

Colombia’s National Institute of Food and Drugs has released a set of guidelines clarifying the responsibilities of companies importing medical devices into the country. INVIMA advises manufacturers and importers on ways to ensure correct labeling of devices and explains the process by which devices are approved. The agency also requires businesses to present marketing certification for their products.
