MHRA Appoints New Chief

Ian Hudson has been appointed chief executive of the UK’s Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency. Hudson’s previous role was as MHRA licensing director, a position he has held since October 2012. He will officially take the reins of the agency in September when Kent Woods, the current chief, steps down following a 10-year run at the MHRA’s helm.
