Malaysia is preparing to note patent expiries of brand-name drugs from around the world in order to market generic drugs via its Entry Point Project 3. The country’s economic transformation program plans to start with Asian markets but eventually penetrate European and U.S. markets, even though those regions charge higher registration fees.
