Center Open to Charge Medical Devices for Those Without Power

Albuquerque’s Office of Emergency Management has set up a temporary charging station for residents with medical devices that run on batteries. The center was set up during a power outage and harkens back to images of hospital staff carrying patients and medical devices out of New York City hospitals that lost power during Hurricane Sandy.
