FDA Targets Alternative, Unapproved Diabetes Drugs

Fifteen makers of unapproved diabetes drugs received warning letters from the FDA last week in a crackdown on products backed by questionable marketing claims and uncertain manufacturing practices. The recipients include foreign and domestic operators of both retail and Internet stores.
