India Seeks Drug Safety, Efficacy Data

India’s Central Drugs Standard Control Organization is telling drugmakers to prove the safety and efficacy of fixed-dose combinations by Aug. 30, following last year’s revelations that more than 30 new drugs had been improperly authorized by state licensing authorities.
