UL Licenses New Optical Fiber Technology to Pointec Medical

The University of Limerick recently licensed a groundbreaking new technology based on optical fibers to the Galway-based medical devices company, Pointec Medical. The technology can be used to better inform physicians on the appropriate intervention for vascular disorders such as coronary artery stenosis.
