Suspected Human Hair in Tablet Cited in FDA’s Ranbaxy Import Ban

A black fiber found in a tablet is suspected to be human hair, said the FDA, in an explanation of its Ranbaxy import ban. The company can no longer import to the U.S. drugs manufactured at its Mohali, India, plant.
