China Probe Could Spill Over to Devices

Chinese government officials are reportedly investigating unfair competition in the device industry as part of a broader antibribery probe. The State Administration for Industry and Commerce launched the investigation last month and said it will run through November. Sources say it is likely to include an investigation of hospitals that purchase big-ticket medtech items and then don’t use them.
