Wockhardt’s Woes with UK Regulators Continue to Grow

The UK Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency has asked generic drugmaker Wockhardt to recall five of its drugs, the latest in a series of blows the UK regulator has dealt the Indian company in recent weeks. The five drugs are diabetes treatment gliclazide and pain drugs amiloride HCl, two strengths of clarithromycin, quinine sulphate and Pinexel (tamsulosin).
