Medtronic Landed $58 Million U.S. Defense Dept. Deal

The U.S. Defense Dept. extended a deal with Medtronic for another year, the agency said. The contract extension, worth $58 million for the Fridley, Minn.-based medical device company, is for radiology systems, subsystems and components for the Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, and federal civilian agencies, the DoD said.
