FDA’s Plaisier Named to Lead ORA

Melinda Plaisier, chosen last year to head the FDA’s Office of Regulatory Affairs in an acting role, is now officially chief of ORA. As associate commissioner for regulatory affairs, Plaisier helps implement expanded FDA authorities granted under the FDA Safety and Innovation Act, FDA Commissioner Margaret Hamburg said.
