Sponsors Will Need Favorable Ethics Opinion to Register Trials in UK

Starting Sept. 30, sponsors in the UK must register their clinical trials on a publicly accessible database in order for them to be approved by the Health Research Authority. The move is in line with a wider European transparency push. The regulatory move makes registering trials a condition for a favorable ethical opinion.
