Health Canada Offers ‘Toolkit,’ Strategies to Combat Shortages

Canadian regulators introduced new protocols for reporting drug shortages and unveiled a “toolkit” to help manufacturers navigate Health Canada’s fledgling shortages database. The Sept. 13 rollout represents the first major regulatory offerings of the Multi-Stakeholder Steering Committee on Drug Shortages, established by the agency last year.
