Diamandouros Exits EU Ombudsman Role

Effective Oct. 1, Emily O’Reilly steps into the role of EU ombudsman, replacing Nikiforos Diamandouros, who is retiring after more than 10 years. O’Reilly most recently served as Ireland’s ombudsman.
