AMCP Plans Biosimilar Database To Monitor Safety and Efficacy

The Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy plans to develop a virtual data network that documents safety and efficacy information on biosimilars and could possibly be used to identify safety signals for those drugs. The industry association has established a biosimilars task force, comprised of industry and regulatory stakeholders, to tackle the design and development of the network, dubbed the Biosimilars Collective Intelligence System.
