Device-Driven Procedure Fees Not Cause of Healthcare Inflation: Report

Don’t blame wide variations in hospital charges on differences in the costs of devices, a new report concludes. AdvaMed commissioned the report to fight what industry sees as a pervasive misperception that the price of medical technology is partially to blame for rising healthcare costs. This is the third report on the limited impact of devices on healthcare costs that the trade group has commissioned in recent months.
