Synthes Loses Patent Appeal Over Spinal Kinetics Devices

November 7, 2013
The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit has affirmed a lower court decision that found Synthes’ ’270 spinal implant patent invalid for lack of written description. The Spinal Kinetics devices at issue are sold outside the U.S.
