FDA Officials to Speak at Human Factors Workshop

EU devicemakers will have a chance to speak directly with top FDA officials at a three-day workshop on human factors for medical devices scheduled for April 1-3, 2014.

The event, to be held at the Park Inn Conference Centre at the UK’s Heathrow Airport, will offer engineering techniques aimed at streamlining product approvals in the EU and the U.S.

The course will also cover global harmonization trends of import to industry.

The workshop, the only event of its kind in Europe, is co-sponsored by UK technology consultancy Cambridge Design Partnership and the Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation, which will also have representatives on hand. — Lena Freund
