FDA Science Board to Meet Next Month

In June of last year, the FDA’s Science Board issued a report recommending that the Center for Devices and Radiological Health’s Office of Science and Engineering Laboratories convene an internal advisory board to review research priorities. The report criticized OSEL’s various research arms for failing to align research strategies.

On Feb. 5, CDRH will have a chance to respond to the report.

The Science Board also will discuss a draft final report from the Global Health subcommittee and hear a progress update from the Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research Post-Marketing Safety Review subcommittee.
