InDevR Introduces Automated Hemagglutination Analysis System

InDevR has launched its Cypher One system, an instrument and software package that automates hemagglutination and hemagglutination inhibition assays interpretation, the Boulder, Colo., devicemaker announced Wednesday.

HA and HI assays are often featured in the fields of serology and virology, having uses ranging from blood typing to vaccine efficacy determinations.

The system’s digital image enables a backtracking of each experiment conducted, which has been lacking in HA and HI assays.

InDevR received development funding from a National Institutes of Health initiative for the Cypher One. The first products will be shipped in September. — Jason Scott
