Acelity’s Revolve Fat Grafting System Launches in EU

Acelity’s Revolve fat grafting system has been introduced in European markets, the San Antonio, Texas, devicemaker said Monday.

The single-use system processes fat tissue in reconstructive surgeries. Consisting of the harvesting and transferring of body fat from one area of the body to another, fat grafting has become popular with surgeons since it takes advantage of a patient’s own adipose tissue to boost volume, the company says.

The devicemaker claims the device can process high volumes of fat in less than 10 minutes, which can reduce procedure time.
