Medtronic’s New Spinal System Launches Worldwide

Medtronic announced Wednesday the global launch of its CD Horizon Solera Voyager spinal system for minimally invasive spine procedures.

The system features three-dimensional navigation during surgery and allows surgeons to choose between two different approaches to spinal rod insertion, the Irish devicemaker says.

Medtronic’s spinal division, based in Memphis, Tenn., also offers neurological, orthopedic and oral maxillofacial products. — Jason Scott
