CEIA Launches MRI Systems for Safety Screening

CEIA USA has launched its new healthcare detection systems incorporating metal detection technology for MRI safety screening.

The systems — the MetalMag walk-through detector and the PD240CH hand-held detector  —automatically filter and suppress alarms for non-threat items while not compromising necessary threat item detection capabilities, the Twinsburg, Ohio, devicemaker says.

Both systems were developed in collaboration with Aegys, a magnet technologies product and process solutions company. — Jason Scott
