InspireMD Teams Up with Penumbra to Market Embolic Protection Product

Embolic prevention systems developer InspireMD announced a partnership with Penumbra to distribute its CGuard EPS. Penumbra will distribute the product through its direct commercialization team.

CGuard is designed to treat carotid artery disease and other neurovascular applications by trapping potential emboli against the arterial wall.

The product has not yet been cleared in the United States by the FDA.
