FDA Approves NeuroLogica Digital Radiography System

The FDA has granted clearance to NeuroLogica, a subsidiary of Samsung Electronics, to market the Samsung GC85A digital radiography system in the United States.

The product is a ceiling digital X-ray system. It reduces costs and downtime with system compatibility, which enables a discharged detector to be used with detectors from other compatible Samsung DR equipment.

Other features include smart control for improved operation efficiency and smart stitching, which eliminates long periods of standing for patients.

The GC85A is the latest of Samsung’s growing array of DR products. —Michael Cipriano
