Aurora Spine Receives CE Mark Approval for Titanium Coated Spinal Implants

August 19, 2015

Aurora Spine received CE Mark approval for the full line of its TiNano sterile-packed titanium coated spinal fusion implants. The implants are made using PEEK thermoplastic material.

The intervertebral implants are designed to support the entire spine from cervical to lumbar regions, according to Aurora Spine president and CEO Trent Northcutt. They also accommodate the Aurora’s ZIP Minimally Invasive Interspinous Fusion System portfolio as part of Aurora’s screwless procedure.

Aurora says the implants provide the advantages of the titanium material, along with the post-op imaging benefits of PEEK fusion implants.
