Rivanna Begins Manufacturing of Accuro Device

Rivanna Medical has begun manufacturing its FDA-cleared Accuro device, a handheld smartphone-sized device that is designed to guide spinal anesthesia with automated 3D navigation technology.

The technology helps clinicians avoid guessing the location of the target. Accuro also provides ultrasound imaging of abdominal, musculoskeletal, cardiac and peripheral vascular anatomies.

Rivanna President and CEO John Williams describes Accuro as “a disruptive, game-changing platform technology” that will service an unmet clinical need for automated image guidance.
