CorVascular Diagnostics, Vasamed Reach Distribution Agreement

October 13, 2015

Minneapolis, Minn.-based CorVascular Diagnostics has entered into a collaboration and distribution agreement with Vasamed, a manufacturer of hemodynamic health devices.

Under the agreement, CorVascular will act as exclusive distributor in the U.S. hospital market of Vasamed’s PAD-IQ system, which measures tissue uptake of blood in the extremities. The device is especially useful in monitoring blood flow in patients with combined peripheral artery disease and diabetes.

CorVascular CEO Spencer Lien said the PAD-IQ system will be integrated with the firm’s Falcon ProV Series, a peripheral vascular diagnostic, to provide a complete micro and macrocirculation testing solution.

Vasamed will also collaborate with CorVascular’s sales force to market the latter’s products. — Michael Cipriano
