Invuity Introduces its Eikon LT With Tissue Grip

San Francisco, Calif.-based Invuity has introduced its Eikon LT with tissue grip to its illuminated retractor platform.

Featuring atraumatic teeth on the distal tip of the retractor blade, the Eikon LT provides plastic surgeons the additional grip to create the desired breast pocket underneath the pectoral muscle for placement of a tissue expander or implant during surgery.

The device also addresses safety priorities for hospitals and health systems, including its non-conductive eliminating the risk of potential burns due to arcing from electrosurgical devices. — Michael Cipriano
