EOS Imaging Makes First Installation in Middle East

Paris, France-based EOS imaging has installed its system at the Jeddah Scan Radiology Center in Saudi Arabia, its first installation in the Middle East.

The platform, which provides 2D and 3D full-body, stereo-radiographic images of patients in functional positions, requires a radiation dose 50 percent to 85 percent less than digital radiology and 95 percent less than basic CT scans.

The Jeddah Scan Radiology Center will exclusively offer EOS exams for axial skeleton diagnosis, planning and control. — Michael Cipriano
