OrthoGrid Systems Introduces HipGrid Drone

Salt Lake City, Utah-based OrthoGrid Systems is introducing its second generation HipGrid Drone, an intraoperative radiographic alignment system for total hip replacement.

According to OrthoGrid, the device features improvements in ease of use and surgical technique reproducibility for the surgical team, along with a pricing model that maximizes cost reduction opportunities by incentivizing administrative expense reductions.

The company will launch the product at the American Academy of Hip and Knee Surgeon meeting in Dallas from Nov. 5 to 8. It is scheduled for full commercial release before the end of the year. — Michael Cipriano
