Quanterix Launches Simoa 2.0 Immunoassay Platform

Diagnostics company Quanterix has launched its Simoa 2.0, its next-generation ultrasensitive immunoassay platform.

The updated assay, which uses single molecule measurements to detect proteins at very low concentrations, features several hardware and software advances, along with a training program.

Quanterix CEO Kevin Hrusovsky says the improvements include increased assay robustness, improved multiplex capabilities, reduced sample size and enhanced overall usability of the technology.
