Roche Launches Three Assays for Cobas 4800 System

Roche launched the cobas HIV-1, HCV and HCV genotyping assays in countries accepting the CE mark.

The assays increase the available options on the cobas 4800 System, improving efficiency and flexibility for laboratories to make rapid clinical decisions.

The additions provide the cobas 4800 System with a total of 12 high medical value IVD assays.

The launch will be followed by the cobas HBV Test, which will complete the portfolio of viral load monitoring and genotyping assays for the system. — Michael Cipriano
