Roche Strikes Deal With NHS England to Keep Breast Cancer Drug Available

November 10, 2015

Swiss pharmaceutical giant Roche will be able to keep its breast cancer drug Kadcyla available to patients after the company struck a last-minute deal on its price with NHS England.

The drug was marked for delisting from England's Cancer Drugs Fund in September, as it was deemed too costly for use on the NHS. Roche was given two months to negotiate Kadcyla’s (ado-trastuzumab emtansine) prices.
