MedCurrent to Launch Radiology Decision Support System

Medical practice software provider MedCurrent will release its MedCurrent CDS Version 3.0 radiology decision support system at the Radiological Society of North America annual meeting in Chicago that runs Nov. 29 through Dec. 3.

The new version features updated interfaces to interfaces to streamline efficiency for radiology departments and imaging centers.

It also uses appropriate use criteria to analyze and rank the appropriateness of a provider’s order for a diagnostic imaging exam and provides feedback as to whether ordering a more appropriate procedure should be considered.
