Advanced Bionics Launches Naída CI Q90 in North America

Valencia, Calif.-based Advanced Bionics, which develops cochlear implant technology, has launched its Naída CI Q90 sound processor in North America.

The device, which has won FDA and Health Canada approval, consists of technology in automation, noise reduction, phone use and waterproof protection.

It also features Phonak Binaural VoiceStream Technology for users with hearing loss in both ears that is intended to improve speech understanding in challenging listening situations. — Michael Cipriano
