NeuroMetrix Wins Patent for DPNCheck Device

The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office has issued the ’581 patent to NeuroMetrix for its core technology integrated into its DPNCheck device.

The device provides accurate and rapid measurements of sural nerve conduction, the Waltham, Mass.-based company says.

This patent also establishes the company’s leadership position in offering automated point-of-care neuropathy testing.

NeuroMetrix develops wearable medical technology and point-of-care tests that help better manage chronic pain, nerve diseases and sleep disorders. — Michael Cipriano
