Air Techniques Launches ProVecta S-Pan Ceph X-ray

November 24, 2015

Dental equipment manufacturer Air Techniques has launched its ProVecta S-Pan Ceph X-ray device.

The device — which has a scanning time of 4.1 seconds — produces quick cephalometric projections with the best image quality at a low X-ray dose, the Melville, N.Y.-based company says.

ProVecta S-Pan Ceph also features two high-end CsI sensors, which eliminate switching between the panoramic X-ray unit and the cephalometric arm.

The X-ray uses an algorithm to compile up to 20 layers from one panoramic rotation into a single clear image in all areas of the dental anatomy, thus helping acquire images specifically created for individual patients. — Michael Cipriano
