Teledyne DALSA to Launch CMOS X-Ray Detector for Mammography

X-ray image sensing technology provider Teledyne DALSA is launching its CMOS X-ray detector for mammography.

The detector will be introduced at the RSNA 2015 Technical Exhibition in Chicago that is running through Dec. 3.

According to the company, the Xineos family of advanced CMOS X-Ray provides high speed imaging at the lowest dose. Further, Xineos detectors enable earlier diagnosis of medical anomalies, potentially leading to lower treatment costs. — Michael Cipriano
